Peer Innovation is one of seven research projects dedicated to improving the measurement of innovation that have started in September 2019 as part of the second funding round of the BMBF
programme "Further development of indicators for research and innovation". The funding programme recognises that innovation is changing and that new topics and phenomena require the existing
indicator system to be further developed. The research project PeerInnovation builds on the extended concept of innovation of the 2018 revised Oslo Manual and examines new methods for empirically
assessing innovations in the household sector. It was launched in October 2019 and has a duration of 36 months.
